The Awesomest Thing on the Internet today is Ghostbusters the videogame. TBT posted the high-res trailer for the Xbox360/PS3 version of the game.

Jonathan Marx at Cheat Code Central wrote a fantastic review of Mushroom Men. It’s great to see when people recognize that the strength of the limited combat system in our action/platformer game comes not from excessive waggle (the 21st century’s button-mash) but from well-timed flicks of Pax’s weapons to perform deliberate attacks at the perfect moment.

Ghostbusters team meeting

December 11, 2008

Quick Ghostbusters status meeting Dustin tells all

Creative Lead Dustin Dobson reports back to the team after the Atari Live event last week in London. We’ve been very excited about the enthusiasm Atari has shown the Ghostbusters project since they acquired it from Activistion, especially the extra attention they’ve paid to our Wii version.

True Game Headz talks to our very own programmer Jeff Lake about video game development and games in general.

There’s a very positive review about Mushroom Men at EverHype.

Randy Nelson at Joystiq got his hands on both versions of Ghostbusters recently, and he shares his impressions in an extensive article on Joystiq.
If you’ll allow me to swell a bit with pride:

“At this point, our pick for the best-playing version goes to the Wii, hands down.”

Nice!

IGN reviewer Daemon Hatfield has a lot of nice things to say about Mushroom Men for the Wii. He obviously gave the game his full attention and evaluated it fairly. ign_wii

Katrina at Mixed Bag Musing offers a fresh, honest evaluation of Mushroom Men. Her article is extensive and detailed, unlike some “professional” review sites I won’t mention here.
