Red Fly Studio is seeking a Real-time Effects Artist to work full time on various AAA console action/adventure titles, one of which is Mushroom Men for the Nintendo Wii. The primary focus of this position is on particle effects using the Infernal Engine, which is very similar to particle FX editors found in the leading off-the-shelf 3d software as well as other leading real-time engines.

Requirements:

Real-time Effects Artists are expected to have the following qualifications:

  • Work well in team environment, collaborating with Design and Art Director.
  • Create custom textures and materials for use with particle effects.
  • Understand the high-level concepts of our proprietary particle editor.
  • Art skills that can contribute to our highly-stylized worlds.
